Tiers and price modes
A campaign is a list of tiers. Each tier says how many units sold (counted from the start of the campaign) and what those units cost.
| Units sold up to | Price | Means |
|---|---|---|
| 25 | 39 | Units 1–25 cost 39 |
| 75 | 49 | Units 26–75 cost 49 |
| 150 | 59 | Units 76–150 cost 59 |
| — | regular | From unit 151, the regular price |
There's no limit on the number of tiers. Use Add tier to add rows and × to remove one. Rows you leave empty are ignored.
Choose how tier prices work
Use Tier prices are on the TierStep Pricing tab:
| Mode | You enter | Example with a $80 regular price |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed prices | The price itself | 39 → $39 |
| Percentage off the regular price | A percentage | 30 → 30% off → $56 |
| Fixed amount off the regular price | An amount | 15 → $15 off → $65 |
Tip: percentage and amount-off tiers follow the regular price. If you change the regular price later, every tier updates with it. They also suit variable products and store-wide campaigns, where products have different prices.
A discount never takes a price below zero, and a percentage can't be more than 100.
Dates
- Start date: the campaign opens at 00:00 on that day, store time. Before that, shoppers can see a "starts in" countdown with the early-bird price.
- End date: the campaign ends at 23:59 on that day. A countdown shows how long is left.
The campaign ends at whichever comes first: the end date or the last tier selling out.
