These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of commercewp.com (the “Site”) and any plugins, licenses, downloads and services you obtain from it (the “Products”). The Site is operated by CommerceWP (“CommerceWP”, “we”, “us”), an independent developer of eCommerce add-ons for WordPress. By creating an account, placing an order or downloading a Product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Products and licensing

Our WordPress plugins are distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPL). The GPL governs the software code itself. A purchase gives you access to the plugin files, updates and support for the term and number of sites stated on the product page (“License”).

• Yearly licenses include updates and support for one year from the purchase date and renew automatically unless cancelled.
• Lifetime licenses include updates and support for as long as the Product is actively developed and sold by us.
• Site limits (for example 1 site or 5 sites) refer to the number of live production sites on which a license key may be activated at the same time. Local and staging sites do not count.
• Free Products are provided as-is with community-level support and no guaranteed update schedule.

License keys are personal to the purchaser. Sharing, reselling or publicly distributing license keys is not permitted and may result in deactivation of the key without refund.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Pricing, payment and renewals

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Paddle calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT that applies in your location at checkout and issues your invoice. We never see or store your full card details. Yearly licenses renew automatically at the then-current renewal price unless you cancel auto-renewal from your account before the renewal date. We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect orders already placed.

4. Refunds

Paid Products are covered by our 7-day, no-questions-asked refund guarantee. See the Refund Policy for details.

5. Updates and support

While your License is active, you receive Product updates and email support for questions about using the Product as documented. Support does not include custom development, third-party plugin or theme conflicts we cannot reproduce, or server configuration. We aim to respond within one business day.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, or using it for unlawful purposes.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Products are provided “as is” and “as available”. While we test carefully, we do not warrant that Products will be error-free or compatible with every theme, plugin or hosting environment. Always keep backups and test updates on a staging site first.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CommerceWP is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Site or Products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Trademarks

WordPress®, WooCommerce® and FluentCart are trademarks of their respective owners. CommerceWP is an independent developer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CommerceWP is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
